• The role is initially paid via the agency, with a view to becoming a permanent member of staff with the school

We are a warm, friendly, and nurturing nursery school in Addlestone looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

About the role:

As a valued member of our nursery, you will play a key role in supporting children’s early development, learning, and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with teachers and colleagues to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

• Provide one-to-one and group support to help children reach developmental milestones.

• Encourage independence, creativity, and a love of learning.

• Contribute to maintaining a safe, caring, and welcoming environment.

What we’re looking for:

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (or equivalent).

• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
