Are you a HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist looking for a rewarding role in a specialist SEN school in Hillingdon, West London?
Uniform Education is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join a well-established specialist setting supporting children and young people with Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and physical disabilities.

Speech and Language Therapist Role Overview
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering targeted interventions to support pupils with speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver individualised speech and language therapy programmes
Provide 1:1 and group interventions to develop communication and social interaction skills
Support pupils using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), Makaton, and PECS
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to EHCP assessments, annual reviews, and written reports
Deliver training and guidance to school staff and parents
Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting therapy plans accordingly
Requirements – Speech and Language Therapist
To be considered for this Speech and Language Therapist job in Hillingdon, you must have:
HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist (essential)
Experience working with children or young people with SEN, including ASD, SLD, or PMLD
Knowledge of AAC, PECS, or Makaton (highly desirable)
Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
A patient, proactive, and child-centred approach
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
