Are you an experienced Senior Physiotherapist in West London with HCPC registration, looking to work in a specialist paediatric SEN setting?

Uniform Education is recruiting a Senior Physiotherapist for a well-established specialist school in Hillingdon, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism (ASD), and physical disabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paediatric Physiotherapist or SEN Physiotherapist seeking a leadership role within a multidisciplinary school environment.

Senior Physiotherapist Role – Hillingdon

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will lead the delivery of physiotherapy services, supporting pupils’ physical development, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage physiotherapy provision within the school

  • Assess pupils’ physical, postural, and mobility needs

  • Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes

  • Support motor development, positioning, transfers, and mobility

  • Advise staff and families on manual handling, specialist equipment, and seating systems

  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team (Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, teaching staff)

  • Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress reports

  • Supervise and mentor junior therapists and therapy assistants

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, and safety standards

Requirements – Senior Physiotherapist (Hillingdon)

To be considered for this Physiotherapist job in West London, you must have:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist (essential)

  • Significant post-qualification experience, ideally in paediatrics or SEN settings

  • Expertise in postural management, mobility, and rehabilitation

  • Experience with hydrotherapy and specialist equipment (desirable)

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork ability

  • A patient, proactive, and child-centred approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
