Uniform Education Achieves Silver CSR Accreditation
Uniform Education Achieves Silver CSR Accreditation
We’re proud to announce that Uniform Education has been awarded the Silver CSR Accreditation, recognising our commitment to responsible business practice and the positive impact we make across the schools and communities we serve.
Awarded by CSR-A (Corporate Social Responsibility Accreditation), this achievement demonstrates that social responsibility runs through every aspect of how we operate — from how we work with our people to how we support our schools and the wider community.
Our approach is built around the Four Pillars of CSR: Environment, Workplace, Community and Philanthropy.
Environment
We believe small, consistent changes make a lasting difference. We’ve taken practical steps to operate more sustainably — from reducing waste and cutting unnecessary printing to reviewing our energy use and promoting responsible procurement across our offices.
As we grow, we’ll continue to strengthen our environmental practices and encourage greener choices within our supply chain.
Workplace
Uniform Education’s success comes from the people behind it. We’re proud of our open, inclusive and flexible culture, which supports staff wellbeing and professional development.
As a parent-centred business, we value flexibility and trust, and we’re equally proud of our role in helping young professionals begin their careers in education. Over 80% of our candidates are under 30, with many moving from temporary to permanent roles through our support.
Community
Giving back to the community is at the heart of our work. Beyond recruitment, we’ve supported initiatives that make a genuine difference in local schools and neighbourhoods.
This includes donating laptops to help tackle digital inequality, providing sports kits to promote inclusion and teamwork, and regularly supporting Borehamwood Food Bank to assist local families.
We’re also proud to work with schools supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring that the staff we place make a meaningful difference to children’s lives.
Philanthropy
We’re developing a more structured philanthropic programme to guide our charitable efforts and measure their long-term impact.
Our aim is to expand partnerships with local organisations, create opportunities for staff to volunteer, and set clear, transparent goals for the support we provide.
Looking Ahead
The Silver CSR Accreditation is an important milestone for us, but it’s also part of a longer journey. Over the coming months, we’ll continue to develop our CSR strategy, measure our progress and work towards achieving the Gold standard.
We’re proud of what this recognition represents: responsible, community-minded recruitment that puts people and purpose at the centre of everything we do.
