We’re currently looking for male Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work with an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Dagenham, RM9.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs

  • Act as a mentor and positive male role model for young lads who need consistency, encouragement, and guidance

  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a calm, nurturing, and safe learning environment

  • Help students manage emotions, build social skills, and engage positively in their education

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated, reliable, and compassionate male LSAs who:

  • Have experience supporting young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or behavioural challenges

  • Bring a calm, patient, and supportive approach to learning

  • Can build strong relationships and inspire trust

  • Are committed to making a lasting difference

Experience in youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, or care is highly valued — the right attitude and resilience are just as important as prior experience.

📍 Dagenham (RM9) – easily accessible from East London and Essex.
