Uniform Education, a new education recruitment consultancy has just completed its first 12 months of trading.

David Owen, Operations Director, Dan Grace, Sales Director and Laura Myers, Commercial Director established Uniform Education on 4th May 2015, with the backing of Andy Larholt (Montash) the business has enjoyed an incredible first years’ trading.  The three vastly experienced education recruitment industry specialists set an aggressive yet realistic growth strategy, which saw them open 3 offices across London; in Old Street, Finchley and East Croydon.

Uniform Education prides itself on differentiating themselves from the rest of the Market, with over 10 years in the industry, the founders recognised the need to work differently from its competitors. David Owen commented 'that the Market needed an innovative organisation that worked differently. We believe that we’ve brought a fresh approach to the education recruitment market. Using our expertise and experience we’ve moved away from the industry focus that was always very client-led to being candidate-led, which the market demands. The result is Uniform Education!’

A lot of Uniform Education's early success can be attributed to this; their investment in international recruitment across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and a host of European countries is testament to their commitment to being a candidate-led business. Dan Grace explained 'that schools in Britain are facing their biggest recruitment challenge to date and we want to provide a cost-effective solution for all of our clients, whilst providing an excellent service and more importantly, superior candidates to our competitors. We have seen lots of examples of superior quality from our overseas candidates and our clients are very receptive to the speed we can find them a recruitment solution. We will be using this technique to increase our candidate pool by 100% in the next quarter and this will see us expand into other regions.'

'These are exciting times for the Uniform family' explains Laura Myers, 'We currently have a vibrant team of 12 employees and to help with the increased demand from clients and candidates across London and the Home Counties the plan is to add at least 5 new consultants to the team in the next quarter. All of our sales consultants are enrolled in a market leading training programme to ensure they are not only able to cope with the rigours of a very competitive market, but to ensure that they come out on top. This a fantastic time to be part of something special!'

The business has ambitious plans for the future. Andy Larholt added “The founding partners are passionate about education recruitment and providing a fresh, personal approach to the industry. This coupled with hard work has seen the business flourish in these early days. We have huge plans for Uniform Education including investment in further offices, headcount and technology”.
