You will be supporting pupils who requires behavioral support in the classroom and to promote inclusion. It is essential that the right candidate has experience of dealing with SEN and other behavioral issues in a classroom or specialist setting. You will need to be motivated to ensure pupils remain focused so they make progress. You need to be confident building effective relationships with pupils with behavioral and SEN needs, helping to keep them engaged in their learning. If you have undertaken Team Teach training, this would be an advantage but is not essential.
Our schools are looking for SEN TA's with a confident approach, who will be committed to that pupil's progress and inclusion. The right candidate will respond to the needs of the pupils while ensuring they learn, are engaged and motivated. The successful applicant will have patience and experience using positive behavior management to motivate and focus pupils.
