Uniform education are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a School in Camberley. Right candidate will play a key role in individual support for an identified child with complex special educational needs (ASD & Behavioural) in Key Stage 2. Start date can be flexible for the right person.
The suitable candidate will have experience of supporting children with special educational needs, ideally within an SEN environment. You must be empathetic, nurturing, be able to manage varying levels of challenging behaviour and have the ability to think on your feet and adapt to situations.
This is a challenging environment to work in, but also very rewarding. This role is suited to someone who enjoys the variation of working in this type of environment, and with a passion and love for working with and supporting children with special educational needs.
You will be joining an experienced, very supportive team of senior leaders, teachers, and support staff and will be provided with the necessary training.
You will require either a clear child workforce related DBS which is on the DBS update service, or be required to pay for a new one to be processed.
This is a long term role, will be until July 2019.
