Job Description

Uniform Education are recruiting for a qualified Primary teacher with SEMH experience for one of our partner schools in Lewisham. The role begins in February covering a maternity leave for the rest of the academic year.

About the School

The school is a Co-operative Trust special school for children aged 4-16 with complex social, communication and interaction difficulties, including autism. Located in the London Borough of Lewisham, they recognise the importance of meeting the needs of SEND pupils (special educational needs and disability) in this context while celebrating its diversity and our young people's place within it.

The school seeks to creatively deliver curriculum solutions that ensure the pathways for learners are well-defined and tailored to their individual needs. The implementation of the curriculum provides them with the necessary skills to move on and take their places at appropriate destinations. By developing their independence and allowing them to become engaged and active citizens in a rapidly changing world.

QTS holder

Knowledge of the Curriculum

Strong behaviour management skills

Experiencee teaching SEMH pupils
