Uniform Education are seeking a SEN Primary Teacher for one of our special education primary schools based in Hillingdon.

The School

The school caters for ASD and features the deployment of specific support staff - Speech and Language Therapy TA's whom they ensure that pupil progress is optimised in their communication skills. They are located in an impressive building that promotes well-being and is conducive to learning.

If you are a dedicated SEN teacher looking for a new long term contact in vibrant school, we are seeking to appoint a Teacher to start in January 2019 to cover a class of 7-9 pupils with LSA's to support.

This is an ideal role for a Primary Teacher who ideally have an experience in teaching students with ASD, SpLD and mild to moderate learning difficulties in Primary setting.

The Role:

* Ability to support those with mild to moderate multiple learning difficulties

* Supporting teachers and children alike both in and out of the classroom

* Having innovative ideas to help children access different styles of learning

* Assisting the teacher with recording and tracking children's progress

* Ability to adapt strategies depending on child's needs

* Encouraging and positive attitude

* Mentoring and other means of support on a one to one basis and in small groups

* Ability to travel to Hillingdon

* Experience of working with SEN children

The ideal cadidate:

-Hold QTS

-Preferably experience in either EBD, MLD, ASD, SpLD, or PMLD or any relevant

-Flexible and adaptable

-Enthusiast about working with children

-Able to manage behaviour effectively

-An excellent team player

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must:

-Hold an enhanced DBS on the update system or happy to pay for one
