Primary Class Teacher required for school in Southwark, September 2018 start.
An outstanding, inspiring, experienced teacher or NQT who will work with the school to nurture the inspiration and dreams of their people is required to start in September 2018 on a full time basis. Experienced teachers must have previous experience working in mainstream primary school(s) across the UK with QTS. Given the nature of the school, teachers with a creative, engaging and nurturing learning philosophy would suit this role. This is a class with 30 students from a variety of cultural backgrounds so a teacher with an engaging and inclusive approach would suit this role. Given the school's expansion plan, there's also scope for career progression in the near future.
This is a school at the heart of a growing family of outstanding schools. They are sponsored by the historic and prestigious City of London. This support allows them unique relationships with The City, its worshipful companies, independent schools and seats of learning. The school believe their future is bound up in the imagination and creativity of their children. This is at the heart of their curriculum. Inclusive and compassionate, they lead the London South East Maths Hub, and are accredited by the National Autistic Society for their work with disabled children. The school building is a light and attractive single-storey building, replacing an old building which had served generations of local children for over a hundred years. It is surrounded by pleasant grounds with grassed and hard play spaces, enhanced by trees and garden areas. This is a two-form entry school with a maximum of 30 places in each class. Nursery and Reception classes have their own separate, well equipped outdoor play area.
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK, relevant references from the last two years and current DBS subscribed on the online service. Anyone who does not will be required to carry out a new Enhanced DBS.
