Uniform Education are working in partnership with a cluster of schools and alternative provisions in Southend and South London.
This alternative provision provide full and part-time education and support to 75 aged 5-16 students who are excluded from, or are finding it difficult to fully access, their mainstream schools.
The Academy provides an essential "Second Chance at Success" either through in-school support via the Behaviour Support Outreach Service or through the Alternative Provision short term or fulltime places. Regardless of prior circumstance or future destination they firmly believe that all pupils at the Academy should be successful and they do everything possible to deliver this vision.
They are looking to appoint learning support assistants, SEMH specialists and behaviour mentors. If the chosen applicant can offer a specialist subject area, or a degree such as English or sports science for example, then that would be advantageous.
If you have experience of working within a PRU or if you are mainstream trained then, the academy will want to hear from you.
The acadmey offer fantastic career opportunities, as the academy is expanding and increasing pupil numbers over the next 12 months. There are temporary and permanent opportunities available and all to start immediately or in January 2019.
