Uniform Education are recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work with Primary schools In Barnet, extending learning across the classroom or with pupils with a range of SEN and behavioural needs on a one-to-one basis.
You will be supporting pupils who requires behavioural support in the classroom and to promote inclusion or undertaking tasks within the classroom to support the teacher and educational development. It is essential that the right candidate has experience of dealing with SEN and other behavioural issues in a classroom or specialist setting. You will need to be motivated to ensure pupils remain focused so they make progress. You need to be confident building effective relationships with pupils with behavioural and SEN needs, helping to keep them engaged in their learning. If you have undertaken Team Teach training, this would be an advantage but is not essential.
Our schools are looking for SEN TA's and Teaching Assistants with a confident approach, who will be committed to pupil progress and inclusion. The right candidate will respond to the needs of the pupils while ensuring they learn, are engaged and motivated. The successful applicant will have patience, experience using positive behaviour management to motivate and focus pupils and the ability to use their initiative effectively.
