Are you an experienced SEND Teacher in Surrey looking for a rewarding role supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)?
Uniform Education is recruiting SEND Teachers for a specialist SEMH school in Surrey, supporting boys aged 9–16 with behavioural, emotional, and learning needs. All pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
This is an excellent opportunity for a SEMH Teacher, SEN Teacher, or PRU Teacher seeking a long-term role with strong progression opportunities.

SEND Teacher Role – SEMH (Surrey)
As a SEND Teacher, you will deliver tailored learning to pupils who require a high level of support and structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons
Support pupils with SEMH, behavioural, and learning needs
Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement
Work closely with Teaching Assistants to support each learner
Monitor and track student progress and development
Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and reports
Build positive relationships to support confidence and self-esteem
Requirements – SEND Teacher (Surrey)
To be considered for this SEND Teacher job in Surrey, you should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEN / SEMH / behavioural needs
Strong behaviour management skills
Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated teaching strategies
A resilient, patient, and adaptable teaching approach
A passion for supporting students with complex needs
