Uniform Education Proudly Joins The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity Walk 2026

On Sunday, the team at Uniform Education proudly joined more than 10,000 incredible people for the annual The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity charity walk — an inspiring event that has now been running for over 11 years and has raised more than £20 million for vital cancer research, pioneering treatments, and life-saving equipment across both Royal Marsden hospitals.

This wasn’t just a walk. It was a reminder of what community, compassion, and collective spirit truly look like.

From the very beginning of the day, the atmosphere was electric. Families, survivors, supporters, friends, businesses, schools, and charities all came together with one purpose: to support those affected by cancer and help fund world-class treatment and research that changes lives every single day.

One of the standout moments came when the brilliant Davina McCall delivered a heartfelt and uplifting speech before joining the walkers herself. Her words captured exactly what the event represents — resilience, hope, togetherness, and humanity. Seeing thousands of smiling faces walking side-by-side for such an important cause was genuinely inspirational.

At Uniform Education, giving back has always been part of who we are.

As a specialist education recruitment agency supporting schools, SEND provisions, PRUs, outreach services, and alternative education settings across London and the Home Counties, we believe our role goes far beyond recruitment. We work within communities every day, supporting vulnerable young people, schools under pressure, and families who need genuine care and consistency.

That same philosophy extends into our charitable work.

Over the years, Uniform Education has proudly supported numerous causes close to our hearts, including:

  • The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

  • Borehamwood Foodbank

  • Donations and fundraising initiatives for local schools and education projects

  • Shalva National Centre — supporting children with disabilities and complex needs in Israel

  • Community marathon and sponsorship fundraising events

For us, success is not simply measured in placements or business growth. It is measured by impact. By helping people. By showing up. By contributing to causes that genuinely matter.

Sunday’s charity walk perfectly reflected the values we try to bring into education recruitment every day — empathy, teamwork, resilience, positivity, and community spirit.

Working with an agency that truly cares makes a difference.

Schools deserve recruitment partners who understand people. Candidates deserve support beyond simply finding work. Communities deserve businesses willing to give something back.

At Uniform Education, we remain committed to supporting schools, educators, young people, and charities alike — because education and community go hand in hand.

To everyone who walked on Sunday, donated, volunteered, organised, or supported from afar — thank you. You are part of something extraordinary.

And to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity: thank you for the incredible work you continue to do for patients and families every single day.

Why Uniform Education Continues To Support Charities Across London & Beyond

As one of London’s leading SEND and education recruitment agencies, Uniform Education believes businesses have a responsibility to positively impact the communities they serve. Whether supporting cancer research, food banks, schools, or charities for children with disabilities, our mission remains the same:

To care, support, and give back.

Because great recruitment is about people first.
